About Us

Jeff

A man of faith, family, and the great outdoors, Jeff – aka Pops – finds joy in the simple yet meaningful things in life. Raised in rural North Texas, he developed a deep-rooted love for nature, fishing, and working with his hands. Whether tending to his garden or casting a line in quiet waters, he thrives in the moments spent outdoors. But more than anything, he cherishes his kids and grandkids, always eager to share his wisdom, harvest, and heart with those around him.

Together

We are Pinkie and Pops!

Whoever says opposites attract is spot on with us!  In a lot of ways, we couldn’t be more different!  But together, we make a pretty dynamic team!

We are Pinkie and Pops to 5 GRANDchildren (and counting!)  Our three children have “grown and flown,” living their best lives with their spouses, kids, and pets, leaving our nest empty but always open.  We are transitioning from the rat-race pace into retirement space.  We live on our small farm with our Labrador Retriever, Remi.  We enjoying experiencing the world with our grandchildren and strive to provide them outdoor adventures they will never forget. Our favorite things to do together include traveling (especially visiting national parks), star-gazing, hiking, binge-watching, lake vacationing, and sharing and eating things from the garden.

Rhonda

A follower of Christ and a responder with wonder and awe, Rhonda – aka Pinkie – is a wife/mother/grandparent/daughter/sister/aunt/friend, a Texas Aggie, a patriotic Daughter of the American Revolution, an educational leader, an Enneagram 8, an overcomer, a fighter.  She loves waterfalls and the sound of cascading water, but she is completely obsessed with sunsets and the phases of the moon, and if she has to be awake early, she appreciates the sunrise, too.  She is a connoisseur of bags of all kinds and is always on the lookout for the perfect bag for any occasion. Favorite things to do include porch-sitting, watching sunsets, taking slow drives along country roads, reading, swinging from trees in an Eno, spending time with family and friends, spoiling grandchildren, and reaping and preparing things from the garden.
